"L & L Creative Paper Toling" is a mother and daughter team that have been involved in "making pictures come alive" for the past 15 years. Their creations have been on display at numerous art and craft shows where the beauty of this "3D" artform can be fully appreciated. In addition to their displays, they have been commissioned for individual pieces.
Paper Toling, sometimes confused as "decoupage", is the art of turning a flat picture into a "3D" visual artform that is finished with a complimenting matte and frame. It is an artform that demands meticulous work and an eye for design and finish in order to communicate the original painter's vision to the viewer. Each picture is an individual creation due to the uniqueness of detail and cannot be totally replicated.
Finished pictures are available in a range of prices from $90 to $500 (Cdn) depending on size and complexity. All pictures are professionally framed by Dominic Leone, a master at his craft.
Landscapes, animals and still-life objects are the focus of "L & L Creative Paper Toling", making these flat pictures into a living object. Anton Pieck prints are a favourite due to their complex detail which is fully enhanced by our technique.
